I was extra excited about this month’s YumeTwins because it’s got the third Sanrio plushie from the series of three! This one is Cinnamoroll, a gorgeous white puppy. You’ll see him in a minute, but first a quick bit info about YumeTwins: subscriptions start at $35 (£29.50) per month.
OK, so let’s take a look inside!
There’s the lovely Yumezine menu.
I had no idea that Cinnamoroll could fly!
Of course there’s a full contents list.
Plus other fun stuff too!
So there’s that gorgeous Cinnamoroll plushie! He’s called a roll plushie, a bit like a slightly flat sausage. Very cute and cuddly. (You can see the other two plushies in the series here and here.)
This month’s squishy is a Water Manju Squishy. It’s a blind box so one of several options.
I got this cute little green one, complete with its own plate. In case you’re wondering what on earth it’s supposed to be, a Water Manju is a Japanese dessert, a translucent mochi (soft rice cake) filled with fruit or red bean paste.
He’s super squishy!
These Ice Cream Kuritaro Stickers are this month’s featured item in the YumeZine. Ice Cream Kuritaro is an anime about all kinds of little ice cream related characters. The stickers themselves are cute; they’re very soft and squishy and they also have a lovely sweet scent. A few of the larger stickers also have little shiny jewels in them.
These Animal Food Clips are a cute way to keep food packages sealed.
An extra clever touch is the sliding paws that you can use to indicate the use-by date of whatever food you’re sealing up! Very neat, and of course cute.
Another fragranced item, this is a Rilakkuma Fragrance Clip.
This honey-scented bear can clip papers together, or anything else that might be handy. There were three possible options in the box, but I’m very glad I got the original Rilakkuma!
Finally, this Shining Clear Case. There were seven different possible designs, and I have Sumikko Gurashi.
It’s a nice size for a little treasure chest, and it has a clip on the lid holds it closed. You can see all the cute Sumikko Gurashi characters on it too.

Aside from the lovely plushie, the standout item for me this month is the treasure chest box. It’s a lovely kawaii place to keep treasured items, and it’s not too small!
The food clips are actually really clever. I use clips in my kitchen all the time, but having the date indicators on them is incredibly useful.
I’m not usually a fan of squishies, but I this this one is adorable. I think the usual recipients of my YumeTwins squishies are going to be disappointed, because I’m going to keep him!
The stickers and the Rilakkuma clip are definitely cute, and the stickers are lovely. My reservation is that they’re both a bit small and, dare I say it, filler-y? The clip is very cute, but it’s an extremely small item, and compared to your average YumeTwins treat, not hugely impressive. Last month’s box also contained stickers, and I don’t think they should show up two months in a row. They are very nice stickers, but when it comes to little things like clips and stickers they are definitely more like extras than main items.
Well, I wasn’t quite sure about the ‘memories’ idea behind this month’s box, but I can sort of see what they mean. The stickers could be used for journaling, though I don’t think the very puffy nature of them would work so well on flat pages. The treasure box is nice to keep little trinkets with good memories, and the clip would add a welcome friendly touch to a stack of paperwork!
Overall I think this month is slightly uneven, still with some lovely items, but not quite as cohesive and special as usual. But hey, the cute factor is high, and plushies are always a hit!
