The garden is covered with snow, but we’ve been enjoying an indoor garden with Mila & Pheebs stationery and activity box for children!
Mila & Pheebs create stationery and activity boxes for children. They contain a mixture of stationery, crafts, stickers, and fun items, based around a different theme each month. It’s £10 per month plus £2.99 P&P.
The box is letterbox-sized, but you get a lot packed inside!
I love the newsletter. It’s so brightly coloured and cheerful, with lots of fun stuff to discover as well as some pleasingly cheesy jokes. The font is very easy to read too.
They do a great job packing everything in!
Sticker stickers stickers. Lovely jolly bees and big foam flowers.
There are always two blank cards, one of which has an embossed pattern. I love the ‘Bee Happy’ sentiment, quite right too.
Little C decided to use both for some springtime patterns!
This is the first of two craft kits, a Ladybird Sewing Kit. We haven’t made this one yet but we’ve done similar ones. They are perfect for little hands, with pre-punched holes and plastic needles so very safe for little hands!
Dotty Art is always fun.
You get masses of dot stickers, there are always lots left over for extra creativity!
You can never have too many pencils and erasers, and this Bee Pencil and Eraser Topper is cheerful as well as useful!
The second craft kit is another cheerful bee, this time a Bee Badge Kit.
Little C pounced on this one quickly, like most children she’s very keen on sticking things!
I just realised it’s slightly blurred, but the little bee’s flower reads ‘Bee Helpful‘. Again, another very good sentiment! (I’ll also tell you a little secret: I used my photo editing app to remove the remnants of lunch from Little C’s top. White clothes and baked beans are not the ideal combination.)
I love the Mila & Pheebs puzzle and colouring sheets. The pictures are always super-cute, Little C loves word games and puzzles.
The bee pencil came in very handy. Also, did you know that the real Mila & Pheebs are twins? Here’s a tribute to them with Little C x 2!
Finally, there is a gorgeous eraser in every Mila & Pheebs box. This one is a two-part Butterfly and Leaf Eraser. These are always far too beautiful to use, and we’re building up a lovely collection!
We always look forward to the arrival of a Mila & Pheebs box, though I have to hide it until the weekend so Little C doesn’t dive in too quickly!
This month’s theme is a lovely contrast to the late winter, and we’re looking forward to seeing real bees in the garden very soon.
One of the nicest things about these boxes are that they are almost entirely self-contained. They’re a great weekend activity, especially on a rainy day, and also could be very useful as a special reward. The combination of free creativity and specific activities works very well, and I especially like the inclusion of the greetings cards.
You could take one of these boxes on holiday, or on a long train or plane journey. Throw in a blank drawing book and colouring pens and you’ve got plenty to keep you going for a while. It would also make a lovely birthday present or even a very fancy party bag!
The website says this is aimed at children from the age of six, but I think it would work very well for younger children too. You’ll probably need to give them a little more help with some of the crafts, but it’s a lovely way to have a little creative family time, with the great advantage that someone else has taken the stress out of finding everything you need!

That bee eraser is so cute! I love that they’ve included some activities which encourage children to use their imagination too.
Yes, it’s a terrific combination of free and guided creativity! 💖
