YumeTwins has a great character-focused theme this March: Shiba & Friends, featuring kawaii goodies from Mochi Shiba! These lovely little pups love to eat rice, and they are cute, cuddly, and friendly! Subscriptions start at $35 (£29.50) per month. Read on to see what’s inside this month…
There’s Mochi Shiba on the cover of the menu booket! The menu booklet was reinstated last month, it’s so great to have it back!
There’s lots of fun stuff inside the booklet.
A full contents list, of course.
There are THREE featured items from the Mochi Shiba line this month!
And check it out, my Instagram picture of Little C with the daruma plushie from the January box made it into the menu! What a lovely bonus!
Anyway, let’s have a look a what’s inside this month’s box.
It’s this month’s plushie, Mochi Shiba!
There are several Mochi Shiba characters, and this one is called Okaka. This guy is just too adorable, and so lovely and soft. Also, check out his rear end view on the right, it made me giggle. (Yes, I’m totally childish.)
Spring cleaning is not my favourite thing to do, but this Kawaii Animal Duster should add a little more fun!
This is one of three options. The little handle folds for convenient storage.
This will definitely add a cheerful note to my chores!
This month’s squishie is a Paw Beanies Squishie. It’s a cute little thing, one of eight possible designs. Cats represent good fortune in Japan, so it’s like a little stress-relieving good luck charm!
Speaking of good luck charms, this is a Sumikko Gurashi Omamori.
An omamori is a special kind of good luck charm or amulet, a little fabric pocket containing a piece of paper.
The paper inside often contains a prayer or inscription, or like this one, you can write your own! My little guy here is called Nisetsumuri, and he’s a slug who is carrying a shell. There are twelve possible designs.
You can never have too many memo pads, and this Mochi Shiba Memo Pad is a perfect for jotting down notes and ideas.
Not only does it have a cute cover, but there are four different paper designs inside! They almost look too pretty to use!
This Mochi Shiba Bath Bomb is going to be such fun! It has a relaxing orange scent, and even better, inside is a little Mochi Shima toy! What a fantastic idea!
Shiba Mochi is a new character on me, but I think he’s just adorable. The plushie is a nice huggable size, and is incredibly soft. He’s expression is lovely too, so cheerful and friendly. It’s always nice to be introduced to new characters!
Cuddle cuddle.
The kawaii duster is microfibre, and surprisingly effective. While it’s small, it’s actually the perfect size for Little C. She earns her pocket money by doing chores, so this is going to be her own special duster for when she’s helping out with the cleaning!
I’m never enthusiastic about squishies because I don’t see the point of them, though the YumeTwins squishies are always cute. However I know several kids who adore them, so they always find a happy home.
I love the notepad, it’s great size to keep on the kitchen counter.
It’s always lovely to learn new things, and I’ve definitely learned something new about Japanese culture and omamoris! This one is a lovely mix of traditional culture with the kawaii culture, and I also love the green colour.
Finally, the bath bomb is fantastic! I can’t wait to use it (and will post on Instagram of course!). That is, I suspect it will end up in Little C’s bath, especially as it has a toy inside! It’s such a fun idea, and having a little bathcare product is a little nod to nomakenolife. In fact, this month’s nomakenolife box has a couple of very kawaii items inside too!
I’m thrilled the menu booklet is back. It’s such a pleasure reading it, and we got the extra bonus of seeing Little C’s picture too!
I love the combination of cute and practical items. YumeTwins is really on a roll with their boxes, every month is getting better and better!
